In this talk, I lay out the God-Goddess Cosmological Model ā a framework for understanding the cosmos as Mind and Matter, where the Heavenly Father and Earthly Mother are eternal, co-equal partners. Many polytheistic cultures see the world this way.
Monotheism is the exception: a worldview where the Heavenly Father rules alone, with no partner or rival, omnipotent and unlimited. This required divorcing the Mother Goddess and pushing her out of the way.
I trace the divorce of God from Goddess through the Hebrew Bible and the Koran and into the modern day.
